Office of the City Auditor (OCA)

OCA has a new publication called The Beacon which is intended to provide information to City of Austin employees as well as other Audit shops to compile or summarize relevant criteria for processes and activities that might be subject to upcoming audits. The first issue, Volume 1, Issue 1, discusses sole source contracting. Other potential activities or processes that may be discussed in future issues of The Beacon include: environmental management, cash handling, and inventory control.
