Welcoming Services for organizations and businesses

The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is pleased to offer services to help businesses and organizations welcome their visitors and participants to events.

Among the welcoming services available are:

  • Banners (stairwell & ceiling)
  • Welcome stations
  • Live music stage
  • Special ground transportation accommodations

Banners may be placed in the center stairwells in front of either down escalator to the baggage claim area. Stairwell banner size is 9 feet 9 inches wide x 6 feet 9 inches high. Banners may be placed for an appropriate time before the event through three days after the event. Banners are produced by the host organization and must be approved by the Department of Aviation before placement. Placement requires a nominal fee of $50 per banner.

Host organizations may personally welcome participants and attendees at a welcoming station, which provides an opportunity to present event related items to attendees. The stations are located at the stairway and escalator landings in baggage claim and include tables, chairs, and easels.

Greet or send off your visitors Austin-style with live music. Located at the Highland Lakes Bar, the concourse stage is available to present a band and welcoming sign and makes a great gathering spot. This stage rental requires a nominal fee and host companies hire the bands. The Aviation Dept. can help find the style of band to suit musical tastes.

Airport staff can assist host organizations with special ground transportation services. Transportation services can arrange for vehicles, provided by the host organization, to be waiting curbside up to 15 minutes prior to flight arrival for easy load in.
