JetBlue adds three more nonstops from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport: San Francisco, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale
AUSTIN, TEXAS – JetBlue Airways will triple its flight options from Austin starting May 1, 2008. On Feb. 20, 2008, JetBlue announced nonstop service from Austin to Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Orlando, Fla; and San Francisco, Calif. These are in addition to the Long Beach, Calif. nonstop it announce just a week earlier. The four new JetBlue destinations available from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport are in addition to JetBlue’s existing daily nonstop flights from Austin to Boston and New York’s JFK.
“In two short years, JetBlue struck a chord with Austin travelers and vacationers, who have connected overwhelmingly with our award-winning JetBlue Experience,” said JetBlue CEO Dave Barger. “We’re pleased to give our customers in Austin what they've been asking for: more destinations, more affordable flights and more convenient nonstop and connecting service from coast to coast.”
Additionally, JetBlue’s service expansion positions Austin as a link between some East and West coast destinations. To book a flight on JetBlue, call 1-800-JETBLUE (1-800-538-2583) or visit www.jetblue.com. JetBlue’s new Austin service schedule is as follows:
