JetBlue triples nonstop flights from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport with service to Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Long Beach, San Francisco

AUSTIN, TEXAS – JetBlue Airways tripled its flights from Austin on May 1, 2008 with four new JetBlue destinations available from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Long Beach (LA) are new destinations from Austin. Additionally, JetBlue added nonstop flights between Austin and San Francisco, and Austin and Orlando. These are in addition to JetBlue’s existing daily nonstop flights from Austin to Boston and New York’s JFK. JetBlue’s service expansion positions Austin as a link between some East and West coast destinations.
“In two short years, JetBlue struck a chord with Austin travelers and vacationers, who have connected overwhelmingly with our award-winning JetBlue Experience,” said JetBlue CEO Dave Barger. “We’re pleased to give our customers in Austin what they've been asking for: more destinations, more affordable flights and more convenient nonstop and connecting service from coast to coast.”
