Passenger screening “Checkpoint 3” renovation limits its operation at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Passenger screening “Checkpoint 3” is currently in a renovation project and may be closed at various times daily throughout the project. The construction is anticipated for completion on Monday, July 28, 2008. During this time, travelers are advised to arrive at the airport two hours before their scheduled departure time. Checkpoint 3 is located at the far west end of the ticket lobby, near JetBlue’s ticket counter.

Checkpoint 3 enters the concourse at Gate 14. Construction at Checkpoint 3 may add to passenger numbers at the other two checkpoints.
