Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Text Map
Barbara Jordan Terminal
"General Overview"
The airport is a non-smoking building; smoking is permitted outside on both levels. The City of Austin smoking ordinance requires smokers be at least 15 feet away from the access of any public building.
The airport terminal is north facing, has two levels is curved, similar to a boomerang and is approximately one half mile end to end. The lower level has the baggage carousels, car rental desks, the Super Shuttle service and airport passenger security. The upper level has the ticket counters, security checkpoints and the airline gates. Most departure passengers enter on the upper level of the airport and arrival passengers are picked up on the lower level. The driveway in front of the airport is a one-way eastbound street; therefore, the terminal will be to the right of arriving vehicles.
