Funding Your Child's Education

Course Description:This seminar will discuss The cost and value of attending college, Grant and loan options, Education funding options. You are invited to start building a strong financial foundation by attending this informative workshop presented by Denise Page, an Insurance Agent for New York Life. Seating is limited. Please rsvp Ms. Page at (512) 773-2681. There is no cost or obligation to attend.



"Keys of Life" Piano Instruction
Instructor: Daphne M. McDole

Class Location: Carver Classroom
Class Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00 - 8:00 PM
Class Dates: ongoing - sessions begin on the first Tuesday of each month
Course Fee: $100 per month (with additional fee for books and supplies)
Course Description: Keys of Life teaches students the value of music through M.E.L.O.D.I.E.S. - Motivation, Education, Leadership, Opportunity, Discipline, Individuality, Excellence, and Structure. Students meet once a week (Tuesday or Thursday). The program is offered to students ages four and above.



African Drum Class (ages 8-Adult)
Instructor:Omi Oni/Awo Fasi

Class Location: Carver Dance Studio
Class Times: Saturdays from 2:30-3:30 PM
Class Dates: Ongoing
Course Fee: $10 per class/$50 per complete session
Course Description: Come have fun and learn to drum! No experience necessary.



Kiswahili (African Language Class)
Instructor: Jane Muturi

Class Location: Conference Room
Class Times: Saturday 1-2 PM
Class Dates: ongoing- new Session begins October 3
Course Fee: $15 per class
Course Description:Are you interested in learning an African language? Come learn Kiswahili, the second most spoken language on the African continent. Ever thought of taking an African safari, mission trip or vacation to Africa? Learning basic Kiswahili will equip you to communicate more effectively with the African people during your visit.
