Retail spaces on the north side of the building provide two more opportunities for the people of Austin to meet, gather and discuss, to engage in what architect Antoine Predock describes as "the sociability" of City Hall and the Second Street District.

The two tenant spaces are at street level and total 3,683 square feet. The Austin City Council chooses both retail tenants.

Both tenants are required to follow the sustainable building and maintenance criteria established for City Hall.
