The City of Austin strives to ensure its Web site is accessible to everyone as it follows the federal standards of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1998 and by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). According to their Web site, "The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international group working to develop Web protocols and guidelines."
