The Austin City Connection™ offers the following Closed Caption logs of Thursday Council sessions aired on the City's municipal cable TV access channel (Channel 6). Since these log files are derived from the closed-captioning created during these live cablecasts, there are occasional spelling and grammatical errors. These Closed Caption logs are not official records of Council Meetings and cannot be relied on for official purposes. Copies of City Council meetings can be viewed in the Austin History Center Recording Collection by calling (512)974-7480.

The Austin City Connection also has posted the approved City Council minutes from the Office of the City Clerk, dated back to October 1995. If you would like to read the official action taken, please refer to the Council minutes for that meeting date. Minutes are approved by the Council at a subsequent Council meeting. Please note minutes are not available on this site until Council has taken action to approve them.
