The Core Cultural Arts Funding Programs provides funding to organizations and individual artists for arts projects that occur between October 1, 2008 and September 30, 2009. You can apply in one of three categories:
Organizational Support – For large organizations.
Project Support – For medium organizations.
Project Support II – For small organizations, individual artists, and new applicants.
Applications for all programs were due by 4:00 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2008.
Applications will be reviewed by artistic discipline and/or funding program. Panels and dates are:

Please note that some larger Music, Theatre and Multidisciplinary Project Support II applications will be reviewed the same day as Project Support applications.

A subset of the Cultural Arts Funding Programs focused on individual/organizational development, arts projects by new applicants, and broad cross disciplinary collaborations. The Auxiliary Programs have rolling deadlines (the first Monday of each month and at least 30 days prior to the project start date, while funding is available) and allow applicants to receive funding for special projects beyond their regular artistic programming.
The Auxiliary Programs include:
Special Opportunities – Supports unforeseen professional development opportunities for organizations and individual artists.
Capacity Building – Organizational and professional development for culturally based arts organizations.
Community Collaborations – Arts funding for new projects between two or more organizations
Community Initiatives – Arts funding for organizations and individual artists not already funded through the Core Programs.

Year 2 Interim Capacity Building II applications are now being accepted only from applicants funded in Year 1 (FY 07-08) of the process. Applications are due by June 2, 2008.
