The Auxiliary Programs have been revamped for FY 2010. Click
here for a summary list of the changes.
The Auxiliary Programs are a subset of the Cultural Arts Funding Programs focused on individual/organizational development and arts projects by new applicants. The Auxiliary Programs have rolling deadlines (the first Monday of each month and at least 30 days prior to the project start date, while funding is available) and allow applicants to receive funding for special projects beyond their regular artistic programming.
If an application is awarded funding, 75% of the payment will be awarded upon processing of the signed contract. The remaining 25% will be awarded upon processing of the final report.
The Auxiliary Programs include:
Special Opportunities – Supports unforeseen professional development opportunities for organizations and individual artists.
Capacity Building – Organizational and professional development for culturally based arts organizations.
Community Initiatives – Arts funding for organizations and individual artists not already funded through the Core Programs.
