As projects move through Completeness Check, each project will be reviewed using an established list of site visit triggers listed by discipline. If a project qualifies for a site visit, staff conducting Completeness Check will communicate with designated case managers who will arrange for the meeting. Members of the applicant’s design team (engineer, representative, and/or owner) will meet designated members of their project’s review team and their project’s environmental inspector at the project location to address specific concerns triggered in Completeness Check. City Staff will express their concern with potential hazards for the project in both review and inspection. Land Use Review staff will document information conveyed to the applicant and ensure those concerns are addressed upon formal submittal and review.
The following progress has been made in establishing the Site Visit portion of the new Service Delivery Model. Beginning October 1, 2003, WP&DR will pilot qualifying projects and refine the process where necessary.
