The natural stone walkway allows water to penetrate the surface and stay in the yard rather than running off into the street.

The colorful plantings attract wildlife, such as this butterfly feeding on drought-tolerant lantana.   The four rain barrels on the site reduce the need for treated water. This one is attractively screened by natural matting.
