North Village Branch has been chosen to participate in the White House Millennium Council Sister Libraries Project. Our Sister Library is located in Adelaide, Australia, which is a Sister City for Austin, Texas. The project encourages young people in both communities to learn about each other's lives and cultures. North Village holds monthly meetings at 4 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month where "Austin's Ambassadors to Australia" have been learning about Australia and preparing for exchanging e-mail, postcards and other items of interest with youth from Adelaide.
