Posting to the APL Blog
The Austin Public Library provides a blog on the Library's home page using Blogger, and posts the same blog on the Austin American Statesman. New blogs are posted Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Faulk Central librarians are responsible for overall blog administration. The blog's mission is to promote Austin Public Library's resources and services. Blogs include thematic item lists from our collection; topics related to today's events and news; research tips; field trips to other libraries; Texas authors and artists; and library trends.
Messages posted to the Austin Public Library blog should be relevant to the the messages to which they are attached. Messages and comments are subject to moderation by the blog administrators, who reserve the right to edit or remove any message, and to reject any comment they deem inappropriate. Inappropriate content includes (but is not limited to) personal attacks, vulgar or inflammatory language, plagiarized or copyright-protected material, private information, clearly off-subject comments, and commercial promotions.
