Business Source Premier offers full text for more than 8,800 serials covering all disciplines of business, including marketing, management, economics, finance, accounting, banking, international business, and more. Additional full text, non-journal content includes market research reports, industry reports, country reports, company profiles and SWOT analyses.

Factiva (Dow Jones & Reuters)

Factiva provides access to the full text of thousands of newspapers, newswires, magazines, and TV and radio transcripts from 118 countries in 22 languages. The News Pages offer the most current issues of publications including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post. Pictures from Reuters and Knight-Ridder are included. See a database tip for instructions on limiting your search to a specific source. A Company search provides company reports, news, competitors, corporate performance, and contact information.
Search Factiva sources by title, language, geographical region, or industry sector. Some sources are not available to public libraries.
Foundation Directory Online Platinum
Library Access Only
A Library staff member must log customers into the Web site. The Foundation
Directory Online Platinum Edition provides information on
more than 80,000 grantmakers and half a million grants for
grantseekers and other researchers. Grantmakers in the database include independent
foundations, operating foundations, family foundations, company-sponsored foundations,
grantmaking public charities, corporate-giving programs, and community foundations.

Mergent Online includes:
U.S. Company Data: a fully searchable database of 15,000 U.S. public companies (active
and inactive) listed on the NYSE, AMEX, and NASDAQ exchanges. Each company report
incorporates up-to-the-minute news items. Access to Wall Street consensus earnings estimates
on all companies in the database is provided, followed by at least one Wall Street analyst's report.
Mergent's company files also provide access to EDGAR® filings dating back to 1993 and
updated daily. Coverage includes: history, business, property, subsidiaries, officers, directors, long-term debt, bond ratings, capital stock, income statement, balance sheet, statements of cash flow, exchange and ticker symbol, address, telephone number, annual stock price ranges, trustees, registrar, transfer agent, stock splits, dividend payment history and more.
International Company Data: includes data on 20,000 non-U.S. companies (active and
inactive) which represent 95% of the non-U.S. global market capitalization.
FactSheets: More than 1,500 NYSE, NASDAQ, and AMEX company reports are updated
quarterly with critical investment information, including summaries of recent quarterly
results, analyses of future prospects, income statement and balance sheet information, key
operating statistics and ratios, and much more.

netLibrary eBooks

netLibrary is a comprehensive collection of online books (eBooks) and resource materials. Using netLibrary, you can access a wide range of materials entirely online. You can search every word in the entire collection, as well as search within a particular eBook. The Texas State Library provides access to thousands of titles. There are also more than 4,000 public domain eBooks that are free to everyone in the Public Collection. You must have an Austin Public Library netLibrary account to access the eBooks remotely. Oxford Reference Online

Oxford Reference Online brings together 100 language and subject dictionaries and reference books, including an encyclopedia, into a single cross-searchable web database. Search the whole database or limit your search by subject or by book. Broad subject categories included are general reference, language, science and medicine, humanities and social sciences, and business and professional. The breadth of information contained in Oxford Reference Online allows you to explore words and ideas from a variety of different perspectives at once. Search results can be displayed by relevance, by size of entry, by book title, or alphabetically.

The ReferenceUSA databases contains detailed information on more than 12 million U.S. businesses and 120 million households.
Search business listings by name, address, phone number, company name, industry, geography, and other special selections. Details on businesses include toll free and fax numbers, sales volume, number of employees, ticker symbols, and owner/executive names. See a database tip for instructions on how to use the Custom Search feature and to create and download customized lists.
ReferenceUSA's residential information is compiled from more than 3,900 White Page telephone directories. Each listing appears in the database exactly as it appears in the phone book. Search by name, phone number, address, or various other geographical limiters including zip and area codes. Information is available eight to 12 weeks after it appears in the phone book, and the file is processed through U.S. and Canadian National Change of Address records on a monthly basis. Each U.S. residential listing also contains information from the most recent U.S. census, including median household income, median home value, latitude/longitude and percentage of owner-occupied housing.
You may only print or download 50 records at a time in the library and ten records at a time remotely.

Regional Business News (EBSCO) 
Library Access | Remote Access Regional Business News provides comprehensive full text for regional business publications, including titles from Crain Communications.
SOSDirect Library Access
only A Library staff member must log customers into the Web
site. SOSDirect provides up-to-date access to information about Texas business organizations maintained by the Office of the Secretary of State. Name availability, assumed name, federal employer identification number (FEIN), and taxpayer identification number (TID) are among the search options. Both active and dead corporations are included in the database. Access to UCC and trademarks searching is also available. No fees are charged when using this database in the Library.
Stevenson's Legal Forms & Practice Guide for Texas (Loislaw)

The Austin Public Library subscribes only to the Stevenson's Legal Forms database. To search the forms, select Jurisdiction. On the Jurisdiction page scroll down to the State Libraries section and select Texas. The Stevenson's link is on the bottom of the Texas page. Please log out when finished to allow other users to search. The Library subscription only allows three concurrent users.
Stevenson's Legal Forms & Practice Guide for Texas covers 27 legal practice areas. The legal forms, comments, and practice tips are grouped into legal practice or topical chapters from adoptions to wills.
