EBOOKS FROM NETLIBRARY

To use eBooks from NetLibrary at home or at the office you must first create a user account from this page. You must have an Austin Public Library Card to create a user account. Once you have created an account, you can access NetLibrary through the Internet anytime anywhere. NetLibrary is a comprehensive collection of online books (eBooks) and resource materials. Using NetLibrary, you can access a wide range of materials entirely online. You can search every word in the entire collection, as well as search within a particular eBook. TexShare, a service of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, provides access to more than 27,000 titles.

What is an eBook?
An eBook is an electronic version of a printed book. eBooks can be viewed online from any computer connected to the Internet.

Creating an Account
There are two ways to access eBooks at NetLibrary. If you are visiting the NetLibrary Web site in an Austin Public Library location, you can search and read eBooks as an anonymous user; no login is required. To use netLibrary at home or away, you must first create a user account from this page. You must have an Austin Public Library Card to create an account. Once created, you can use your user account to log in to NetLibrary from any computer with Internet access.
