Mayor's Book Club 2003
During the month of February 2003 the Library and the Mayor's office polled the Austin community on which book Austin should read. The popular opinion and the chosen book by the community and the Mayor is Holes by Louis Sachar.
Holes, a fun and poignant story of a young boy, Stanley Yelnats, who is dogged by bad luck stemming from an ancient family curse. Stanley has little clue that he's in for the adventure of his life when he's sent to Camp Green Lake.
