Spicewood Springs Branch Hosts Mystery Writer--
Barbara Burnett Smith
On Wednesday, August, 21, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. the Spicewood Springs Branch of the Austin Public Library, 8637 Spicewood Springs Road will host local mystery writer, Barbara Burnett Smith. Smith will talk and present her latest mystery novel Skeletons in Purple Sage—the fifth book in a series of whodonuit novels set in the small Texas town of Purple Sage. The book’s central character and amateur sleuth, Jolie Wyatt, has her hands
full when another round of suspicious deaths occur in Purple Sage. Burnett Smith, will be available to answer questions, as well as sign her book. Proceeds from the book sales will go to the Austin Public Library. The event is free and the public is invited to attend. For additional information call (512) 258-9070.
