Public Hearing to Discuss the Library Budget
If you care about your library, make your voice heard as the City Council holds a public hearing to discuss the 2004 Library budget. The hearing will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lower Colorado River Authority, Hancock Building, 3700 Lake Austin Boulevard.
Show your support for Austin's libraries on August 14th. Addressing the Council is optional. You can sign up to speak Monday through Wednesday at the City Clerk's Office, 124 West 8th Street, or at the Hancock Building the evening of the meeting. If you choose not to speak, just sign a card indicating the library is an important part of your life. If you can't attend, send a letter or an e-mail to the City Council encouraging their continued support of libraries.
