HOT! SUMMER READ
Meet Austin Writer, Jesse Sublett
Come in out of the heat this summer and join the Austin Public Library for what will certainly be a cool author program. At 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24 at the Austin History Center, 810 Guadalupe St., the Library welcomes Austin writer and musician, Jesse Sublett, who recently published (BOAZ publishing) Never the Same Again: A Rock n’ Roll Gothic. Sublett will be available to discuss and answer questions about his book. An autobiography, it’s a road trip through a landscape of rock n’ roll dreams, murder and disease, told with candor and a hardboiled sense of humor. Never the Same Again was released in May 2004 and has been finding eager acceptance by fans of mystery fiction and true crime novels. A book signing will follow. Also by Jesse Sublett; The Martin Fender series: Rock Critic Murders, Boiled in Concrete, and Tough Baby.
The Friends of the Austin Public Library will sponsor this free event and the public is invited to attend. Proceeds from the book sale benefit the Austin Public Library.
