Faulk Central Library’s Third Floor Temporarily Closes to the Public
Beginning Monday, October 17 through Friday, October 28, 2005 the third floor of the Faulk Central Library will be closed to the public for a much needed lighting retrofit. Through the generous support of Austin Energy and the Public Works departments the Austin Public Library will enhance the current lighting levels on the third floor, which contains the circulating non-fiction collection. Therefore, the circulating non-fiction collection will not be available from Monday, October 17 through Friday, October 21. Starting Saturday, October 22 through Friday, October 28, library staff will be available to retrieve books from the third floor for customers. If possible, please call ahead to request retrieval of non-fiction materials. The following will be available both weeks: fiction books, reference (non-circulating) materials, youth materials, adult and teen computers, audio visual materials, large type books, and recent books. For additional information call (512) 974-7400 or visit www.cityofaustin.org/library.
