Kellach Waddle presents four world premieres of pieces written to evoke the spirit of four famed female literary characters. Mr. Waddle gives short talks about the works of Steinbeck, Tolstoy, Plath, and Flaubert along with new music works based on "Kathy" from East of Eden, "Anna Karenina" from the eponymous novel, "Esther Greenwood" from The Bell Jar, and "Emma Bovary" from Madame Bovary.
Join Mr. Waddle and a host of his Austin Symphony colleagues at this exciting first collaboration between PKWproductions and the Friends, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Austin Public Library!!
