Windows on the Past
Exploring the History of Your Older House or Building
Special Workshop to be Held

AUSTIN, Texas (January 12, 2008) – Local history organizations will present an educational workshop that will provide tips on conducting historic property research in Austin, including an overview of the resources at the Austin History Center. Experts will review the application process for the historic designation of your property for local, state, and national designations.

WHEN: Saturday, January 12, 2008, 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.

WHERE:Austin History Center, Reception Room .The Austin History Center is
located at 810 Guadalupe, at the corner of 9th and Guadalupe Streets.

WHO: Co-Sponsored by the Austin History Center, Austin History Center Association, City of Austin Historic Preservation Office, Heritage Society of Austin, Travis County Historical Commission, and the History Programs Division of the Texas Historical Commission.
