Thank You, Neighbors
The party Thank You, Neighbors takes place Saturday, November 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the North Village Branch of the Austin Public Library, 2139 W. Anderson Ln. Celebrate with us as we offer thanks to area neighborhoods for the 38 years of community we have built together. There will be a Mini Monster Book Sale with proceeds to benefit the Austin Public Library System. Enjoy light refreshments while you browse the book selection and chit chat with your neighbors. Thank You, Neighbors also hopes to raise awareness that the new North Village Branch will soon be moving. The new location at 2505 Steck Avenue will open on January 24, 2009. The North Village Branch Replacement Project will provide an 11,000 SF permanent home for the North Village Branch, which has been housed in leased spaces since its inception in 1970.
