Why include statistics?
Statistics add significance, importance, and interest to your paper, speech, or presentation. Make sure the statistics are current and from a reliable source, such as a magazine or newspaper article, a government website, or a reliable organization.
Finding statistics in magazines, newspapers and journals

- Factiva
- MasterFile Premier
- Use the Boolean logic term AND to overlap two or more subjects: statistics and health
Other keywords to add to your topic search term are:
analysis, data, “fact sheet”, measure, occurrence, trends, incident*
- Truncate your terms. Most common truncation symbol is the asterisk (*).
