Austin Public Library will be offering a full range of ECHO'S Summer Reading Program Special Events at the Faulk Central Library and 21 branch libraries. The theme for the summer program is "READ ACROSS TEXAS". The program kicks off on Monday, June 3 and runs for eight weeks through Friday, July 26. Youth of all ages may take part. Children who do not read yet may take part by being read to and teens will have a program designed especially for their interests. The theme for the older youth (11 to 17 years old) is "RULE THE ROAD".

Over 150 special program titles will be offered. Including magic shows, animal programs, featured musicians such as Cowgirl Sue and Joe McDermott, storytellers and more! If you need additional information or have questions call the Austin Public Library's Telephone Reference at (512) 974-7400.
