Dry Ice and Air Pressure

Two programs will be available this summer. They are "Dry Ice," an exploration of three states of matter. Water will be turned into ice in 30 seconds, a giant bubbling potion will be concocted, and smoke illusions will be created with the use of plain drinking water and a secret ingredient. Also, "Air Pressure," an exploration of the drama of air pressure all around us. This action-filled event blends high-flying demonstrations, silly science, and spectacular demonstrations. This show begins with a comic magic bag, but moves quickly into other experiments such as flattening a bottle, a funny tug-of-plungers gag and a set of "inseparable" spheres. Next, the Mad Scientist will create a hot-air balloon and treat the audience to an awe-inspiring explosion.
