Hike or bike to the Pfluger Bridge on June 7 to see the bridge extension project designs

Austin, Texas - The public is welcome to view design elements and provide input on the James D. Pfluger Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge extension project on June 7.

Open house for the Pfluger Bridge extension project:
June 7, 2008 from 8 - 11 a.m.
North end of the Pfluger Bridge
Fit City Sports will be providing a complimentary water station.

The construction project will extend the north end of the Pfluger Bridge over Cesar Chavez St. providing a safe and convenient north-south crossing for bicyclists and pedestrians along the Lamar Blvd. corridor. The design phase is 60% complete with construction expected to begin in Jan. 2009.
