Ethics Commission to host Place 4 runoff candidate forum

The Ethics Review Commission will host a forum Thursday, May 29, for the two candidates in the June 14 runoff election for Austin City Council Place 4.

Moderated by the League of Women Voters of the Austin Area, the forum will be from 6:15 to 7 p.m. at Council Chambers in Austin City Hall, 301 W. Second St.

The public is encouraged to attend. The candidate forum will also be carried live on City of Austin Channel 6.

Laura Morrison and Cid Galindo will appear on the June 14 runoff ballot for City Council Place 4.

The early voting period for the June 14 runoff election will run from Monday, June 2, through Tuesday, June 10.
