APD launches online traffic survey

The Austin Police Department announced today that its Highway Enforcement Command has launched an online traffic survey and is asking Austin drivers to help identify the most pressing driving safety issues in the community.

The survey asks drivers to provide input regarding overall traffic safety and driving behavior on Austin streets and roadways. APD is encouraging every citizen to participate as the department continues to prioritize its traffic safety efforts and moves forward with making the Austin a safer place.

Those wishing to participate in the online survey can visit the City of Austin Web page at APD Traffic Survey. The survey will be available online through July 15, 2008.

Once results have been compiled, APD will evaluate the driver responses. The Department will determine how to allocate its resources and best address those issues identified in the survey.
