Parks and Recreation Department earns national accreditation
The City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department recently became the only major city in Texas and one of 73 cities nationwide that earned national accreditation from the Commission for Accreditation of Parks and Recreation Agencies.
Grants for Neighborhood Parks and Trails.
Austin Parks Foundation offers grants small and large to volunteer groups working to improve their neighborhood parks.
Our grantees are dedicated, creative in the face of obstacles, and inclusive in building a sense of neighborhood ownership for their parks.
