2008 Junior Golf Tournament Information

All tournaments are open to boys and girls who have not reached their 19th birthday, and who have not entered college.

Contestants must carry clubs or use pull cart with no assistance. Contestants may have a caddie. Click here for more information "caddies"

Age Divisions for Tournament Play

• Pee Wee
• 9-10 years
• 11-12 years
• 13-14 years
• 15-16 years
• 17-18 years
• Open Division (for Jr. City Championship only)

Registration: Call the host golf course between Tuesday and Sunday, before noon prior to each tournament to enter. No late entries will be accepted.

Tee Time: Call host golf course on the day prior to the tournament date to obtain participants tee-time.

Fees:

• $10 entry fee, plus green fee
  
• Junior Green Fees: $7 Weekdays, No junior rates on weekends except Hancock
  
• Summer Card: $70 - Good June through August; plus $2 each day you play. Cards and Junior Green Fees are not good on weekends and holidays. Jr. rates do not apply at Roy Kizer Golf Course. Fees may change without notice.

George Hannon Award for Low Scoring Average
Results for the year
The "George Hannon Scoring Average Award" is presented to the juniors, in each age division, with the lowest scoring average for the summer. Winners of the George Hannon scoring average will be recognized in each age division of Boys and Girls. The names of the winners in each age division will be recognized and added to the plaque at Lions Municipal Golf Course.

Eligibility: Boys & Girls who play a minimum of 2 rounds in 4 of 6 stroke play tournaments. Must play all rounds in proper age division determined by age as of August 15th of that given year

Averages will be calculated to two decimal places. In case of a tie, a 9 or 18 hole playoff will take place at Morris Williams GC on August 1. Ties remaining after playoff will be broken by sudden death playoff.
