Programs and Services |
Our goal is to provide a variety of meaningful recreation experiences that enhance quality of life. Activities are offered year round for children and adults through our after school explorers, spring break and summer day camps, and recreational day program for challenged adults. There are also ongoing evening classes such as cooking, sports, social games, outdoor activities, and creative arts. Please check our fall program guide for a complete listing of current programs. You can also find our class listing.
For the more athletic participants, we offer adapted sports programs in tennis, swimming, cycling, basketball and more. Special events include the Art in the Park Festival in the spring, and Rock the Boat, a canoe and kayak clinic in September. Volunteers may assist in many of these program areas. Please contact the McBeth Recreation Center if you are interested in volunteering.
