Recreation Centers
The Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of programs
for children, adults and seniors. The majority of these programs are held at our
20 Recreation Centers. Programs at the Recreation Centers include arts, dance,
fitness, card games, table games, gymnastics, tiny tots, boxing, karate, team sport leagues, after-school programs,
daycamps and alot more. Individual class listing is
available on the web at or call the Recreation Center
closest to your home or work for information.

The sections include:
Northeast (NE) parkland located north of Riverside Drive, east of Lamar Blvd. extending to the city limits.
Northwest (NW) parkland located north of Cesar Chavez, west of Lamar, extending to the city limits.
Town Lake (TL) parkland located between Cesar Chavez and Riverside, east of Pleasant Valley, west of Lamar to city limits .
South (S) parkland located South of Riverside Drive, extending to the city limits, excluding the Barton Creek Greenbelt.
