2009 Meet the Lender


An excellent resource to address a primary need of business owners. Meet the Lender 2009, a business loan fair, celebrates its sixth year. This event offers a unique opportunity for area entrepreneurs to learn how to secure financing for their businesses. Meet the lenders that can make it happen! Business Start-Up Orientation classes will be offered at 3:30 and 5:15 p.m.

With direction from City Council, SBDP has developed an online, interactive map of small, locally-owned businesses in Austin: www.explorelocalaustin.org. The purpose of this project is to provide a more significant presence on the Web to these businesses--increasing visitors' and residents' awareness of local businesses. The project now includes seven areas of town to choose from, or you
can explore by business types. Click on the logo or the link above to check it out!
