Office paper
Pay-As-You-Throw customers can recycle office paper by putting it in their Single Stream Recycling cart with other recyclables.
If you are not a Pay-As-You-Throw customer, consult your waste company or building manager about whether to put office paper in your trash or in your recycling.

Oil filters
Residents of the City of Austin and Travis County may take household quantities of oil filters free of charge to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility for safe disposal.
Some of the automotive shops that accept motor oil for recycling, may also accept oil filters for a small fee. Call ahead of time to find out whether the shop takes oil filters and what the charge is.
