Pouring chemicals down the drain, dumping them on the ground, or putting them in the trash is dangerous and harmful to the environment. Our Household Hazardous Waste Facility is open to City of Austin and Travis County residents and businesses for the purpose of safely disposing hazardous waste.
FACILITY DROP-OFF HOURS FOR RESIDENTS
Residents may drop-off limited quantities of hazardous waste free of charge to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
Hours:
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 12 noon to 6 p.m.
- First Saturday of each month, 7 a.m. to 12 noon
The facility is located at 2514 Business Center Drive (map).
