5th Annual National Community Networking Conference
"Community Technology - Survival and Success"
December 8th-10th, 2002
Hyatt Regency Hotel Town Lake, Austin, Texas

Today's community leaders know information technology is now vital for community survival and success. But economic downturns, dwindling government support, and confusing technical choices make it very difficult for them to build and sustain local telecommunications resources.

The 2002 National Community Networking Conference brings the world's leading community networking experts to assist communities in developing successful local technology programs. Government officials and industry leaders join the world's most experienced community network professionals to present key information and assistance for community technology planners.

Organized and presented by the TeleCommunity Resource Center (TCRC) and Association for Community Networking (AFCN) this "How To…" conference clearly explains rapidly changing technologies, policies, projects and services in simple terms for beginners and veterans alike.

Conference hosts include: TeleCommunity Resource Center; Association for Community Networking; Texas Office of Rural Community Affairs; Texas Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund Board; University of Texas Telecommunications & Information Policy Institute.

For details, the latest agenda information, and registration, please visit the TCRC website at
