Claims

The Claims Division of TARA provides collection services for City departments. It processes claims for money due the City of Austin for damage to City property, returned checks and other delinquent accounts.

The City of Austin has multiple utility lines under the ground! Be sure to "know what's below" and call 811 before you dig.

Claims also provides account and payoff information to customers for judgments and liens owed to the City. Please contact 974-2910 for additional information.
