Austin-Bastrop River Corridor Partnership - an informal partnership of nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies,
businesses, and citizens concerned with the future of the 90-mile Colorado River corridor between Austin and Bastrop County.
Austin-Bastrop River Corridor Partnership is entering a new phase with the release of "Discovering the Colorado: A
Vision for the Austin-Bastrop River Corridor" (8MB file) - an 81-page report documenting the results of 4 years of workshops, meetings, and research.

The Texas Riparian Association - a statewide
organization to promote awareness for protection and restoration of Texas
riparian ecosystems hosted by the CER |
EcoHouses Partnership - a partnership to demonstrate green building techniques and landscaping by remodeling houses on
the Hornsby Bend site and utilizing them as offices for City affiliated non-profit organizations - Treefolks
and the Austin Youth River Watch Program with support from the Austin Green Building Program.
The Ecological Mentorship Program - a program offering academic internships in natural resource management and urban ecology at
the CER to university students.
The Living Lab Program - a program with local elementary and secondary schools which brings students to the Hornsby Bend
site during the year for ecological field studies.
Ecological Literacy Days - three hours of outdoor volunteer work and an hour of ecological education on the last Saturday
of every month at Hornsby Bend [9am-1pm]
