Water Partnership Stakeholder Meeting Summary
Meeting Summary 4, October 6, 2009
The Austin-LCRA Water Partnership Stakeholder Group met on October 6th, 2009 for a tour of the LCRA Lakeside Plant and
rice farms near Eagle Lake, Texas. Ron Gertson led a tour of the Lakeside Irrigation Division and the Gertson family farm.
Stakeholders discussed water issues from long-term water supply options, Region K, groundwater districts, rice farming and
the local economy, water movement within the irrigation operations, and other related topics.
Some City and LCRA staff joined the tour. No official business was conducted.
