Commercial/Multi-Family Free Toilet Program
We now offer high-performance HETs (high-efficiency toilets). These Pro-Flo PF9300 toilets with dual flush technology
ensure great performance and reduce water consumption. All eligible toilets must be replaced at the property. To
qualify, the installation address must receive water from the City of Austin or an eligible MUD and be built prior
to January 1, 1996. (This program does not replace 1.6 gpf toilets.)
To participate, complete and submit a Multifamily/Commercial Free Toilet Application and the W-9 form. We will
review the application and contact you for a pre-inspection if you meet the qualifications. Wait until we mail
you a voucher before taking out the old toilets. Once we send you a voucher and pick-up information, please
contact your local Fergusons Enterprises to schedule a pick up of your toilets. Standard white round-bowl toilets
are FREE. Elongated-bowl ADA-height toilets are available for a charge of $21.78 + tax per toilet, payable at
pick-up. Toilets come with everything you need for installation (wax rings, bolts and seat).
Multifamily and Commercial properties require a post-inspection after all toilets are installed. Contact us at
(512) 974-2199 once all toilets are installed at the property.
Remember to fill out a survey online to notify the City after your free toilets are installed or contact us at
(512) 974-2199. You may be charged a fee to reimburse the City for the cost of the toilet if you don't notify
us of installation. All free toilets must be installed within 6 months from date of issuing the voucher.

verification of your free toilet.
As with any other product, there may occasionally be defective units. For technical issues, contact your local
Ferguson Enterprises location. You are responsible for the disposal of your old toilets. (State law prohibits
the reuse or sale of the old toilets.)
Toilet Recycling Now Available!
The City of Austin will offer toilet recycling at the
FM 812 Resource Recovery Center
beginning Monday,
June 14, 2010. Customers must remove all non-porcelain parts (bolts, flush lever, seat, etc.) from the
toilet(s), disassemble the tank and bowl, and clean and sanitize the toilet(s) with chlorine bleach prior
to drop-off. Products not meeting these conditions will not be accepted. The FM 812 Resource Recovery
Center is open Monday through Friday.
Please visit
The FM 812 Resource Recovery Center
for directions and hours of operation. Bulk drop-offs from plumbers or neighborhood groups are
encouraged to reduce vehicle trips.
