School is a hands-on classroom
presentation for
fifth graders about Austin's watersheds, the Edwards Aquifer and
water quality.
Students model water flow in a
watershed and aquifer and identify pollution threats in their
own neighborhood. The content is correlated to the TEKS and enriches
the AISD Landforms curriculum unit.
Carla Marshall, the presenter,
communicates effectively with fifth-grade students and receives
the highest recommendation from teachers.
