FEMA Map Modernization Project

FEMA has released preliminary new and updated floodplain maps to the City of Austin. The City of Austin hosted three public meetings on April 18th and April 19th at the time and locations shown below. The meetings included a 30-minute presentation which introduced the new maps, informal viewing of the new maps, and a question/comment period. Hard copies of the maps were available at the meetings for viewing. FEMA and City of Austin Watershed Engineering Division representatives were available at the meeting to respond to questions.
